Philips wanted to introduce customers to a new extensive line of products; increase brand awareness and improve overall perception of the brand in-store.

JOURNEY INSIGHT

Electronics and household appliance stores are huge these days and people easily get lost in their endless aisles. They don't know where to begin — and not only do they need to see and touch a product, they also need to clearly understand its benefits and new features in relation to their needs and desires.

IDEA

We decided to help them orientate themselves and formed a team of specially trained Philips guides. The Philips team paid extra attention to the customers, gave them advice on their potential purchase, demonstrated all the benefits and even let the customers test the products on the spot — for example, people could iron a shirt with a Philips PerfectCare Pure Steam Generator Iron and feel the difference.

RESULTS

In all, we sold 3 533 items of Philips equipment. We also increased awareness in other categories (male grooming, garment steamer, multicooker, Saeco coffee machine) with 457 items sold.
